WELCOME!
Northwestern REC has created this new program to give high school juniors the opportunity to learn all about the cooperative way of business and energy related issues, gain leadership skills, and perform community service projects. The Youth Ambassador Program is a precursor to the Rural Electric Youth Tour. Students who participate in most of the tentative meetings will be automatically chosen for the Rural Electric Youth Tour (or an equivalent trip should the Youth Tour be cancelled). The student who wins the Youth Ambassador competition at the end of the program will be chosen as Northwestern REC's Youth Leadership candidate. What do you say? Are you up for this unique opportunity?
Meetings may be in person, remote or a combination of both and will be scheduled when it is convenient for the students.
